The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introductory teaching qualification, which prepares learners for teaching or training in a wide range of contexts. It does not develop competence, as learners are not required to be in a teaching position. The qualification is suitable for individuals who wish to teach in the Further Education and Skills Sector and forms a foundation for those with little or no previous experience of teaching or training.

You are assigned a personal tutor as soon as you enrol, who will give you help and guidance through the course as well as mark your assignments and give you personal feedback.

Qualifications

This Course leads to a non-regulated Level 3 Award Education and Training for successful learners.

Assessment

As part of this qualification, you will complete the following :

  • Five assignments of approximately 1000 words

As this is a level three qualification, there is no requirement to include references in your assignments. However, it is regarded as best practice to do this and to show evidence of wider research, such as Internet, text books etc.

If you use a reference in the main body of your assignment, you must include the details in a bibliography at the bottom of the last page of your assignment. Details must be recorded using the Harvard Referencing System (see below).
